Indian Summer of 1989
I drew this little indian girl in 1989. The only thing I can remember is that I used a cheap charcoal pencil, a tortillon and my fingers. Though my parents always supported me when I was young, I know they were a little bit worried about the fact that their son became a painter. At least, I made them proud winning a yearly subscription to our local newspaper…
One day in 1990 I decided to quit drawing: I got tired of pens and pencils and all that stuff because I became fully aware that girls didn't like painters. I was wrong: years later I realized that girls really like bohemian artists. But friends, that’s another story.

continue drawing was a good choice! very cool work
fuck, that's great. I come from the school of dudes that wanted to do something and never had to follow through. I guess I was always afraid of not being able to make a living doing something fun like writing or playing music. So I went to business school and now spend a minimum of 40 hours a week surrounded by people I have nothing in common with.
Thank you Adri. I don’t know if it was a good choice or not, but it was the BEST choice for me. You know, life is too short to waste in a job that makes you unhappy.
Mr. Brown, “normal people” are unhappy, unsatisfied and frustrated because they don’t do what they like: they don’t have the balls to change their life. Next time make them sing along “and I'll never be like you”: I am sure you know that song.
